Verified dog-friendlyThe Rose & Crown (Eli's)
Better known to everyone within twenty miles as Eli's, this gloriously unspoilt cider house in Huish Episcopi has stayed in the same family for generations and never saw much reason to change. Dogs are welcome throughout the flagstoned taproom, the bar and the large beer garden — a fittingly unhurried spot near Muchelney Abbey and the Levels.
- Dogs Inside Dogs are allowed inside the main bar or pub area, not just outdoors.
- Garden & Terrace Dogs are welcome in the beer garden, courtyard or terrace seating.
- Water Bowls A visitor confirmed water bowls are put out for dogs — not just assumed.
- Dog Treats The pub keeps dog treats behind the bar to hand out.
- Restaurant Area Whether dogs are allowed in a separate dining/restaurant section, not just the bar — some pubs allow one but not the other.
