The Pub Hound lists pubs across the UK and marks them verified only when a real dog owner confirms they were welcomed — dogs inside or garden only, water bowls, treats behind the bar. Every verification is dated, so you know how fresh it is.
Been somewhere brilliant with your dog? Every pub page has a "Verify This Pub" or "Confirm Dog-Friendly" button — a couple of quick questions and the listing updates automatically, no waiting on us to get round to it.

Every pub sits in one of three states, and we're upfront about which:

A real visitor confirmed dogs were welcomed on their visit. Dated, so you know it's current.

Reported
A positive signal from open map data, or a single unconfirmed submission — worth a try, but nobody's verified it in person yet.

Unverified
Nothing confirmed either way. Been there with your dog? Help us find out.
